Staff Spotlight: Brenda Chouinard honored as Supervisor of the Quarter

Brenda Chouinard was presented with the Supervisor of the Quarter Award last week by Anne McManus, Latham Centers’ President and CEO. Brenda, the Adult Services Residential Manager at our Weir Road home, was selected for the honor for many reasons.

“Brenda is a wonderful person to work with, always pleasant and upbeat,” noted a colleague. “Her relationship with clients is exemplary, and staff members always talk about her willingness to listen.” Brenda goes above and beyond in everything she does, and she is known for her ability to promote teamwork, improve morale, and serve exceptionally well as a Latham community ambassador.

Director of Adult Services Gina Sheehan expressed her appreciation for Brenda’s outstanding work at Latham. “Brenda’s efforts as house manager are noticed when you walk into the home. It is inviting, the house staff are engaging, and the residents feel that they belong. She encourages their self-advocacy and allows them the opportunity to grow with innovative ways to meet ISP goals. Brenda consistently and quietly strives for excellence simply because she knows excellence is what the residents deserve.”
