Classroom field trips in the Children’s Program

Our Latham teachers are incredible! “Not only do our teachers take our students on fun-filled outings, but they follow up by sending uplifting emails to all of our Children’s Program staff. I love seeing these emails because it makes me feel like I’m part of the outing!”

Here are recent highlights:

Jeff Lee’s email to staff (Drummer Boy Park visit): “The Bass River Boys went to drummer boy to take advantage of the beautiful weather and to draw the historic windmill that is on the property. The guys did great and enjoyed their time practicing their very artistic talents. We are making memories and teaching important lessons to them all.”

Jeff’s email (outing to Hyannis): “Even though it was a dreary day the guys from Bass River enjoyed seeing all the boats and the scenic drive this morning around Hyannis. I am proud to work with so many amazing people.”

Catherine Christianson’s email (trail walk): “Just sharing some great photos Craig and I took of this afternoon on a beautiful day. We took a short hike up to Eastham and did a short trail. Enjoy!”

Lindsay Payne’s email (Toad Hall): “Race Point went to Toad Hall! For those of you who don’t know, Toad Hall is (kind of) a classic car museum with about 25 classic European sports cars, all red! A wonderful man named Bill, who owns the Museum and Inn, welcomed us and even let us meet and pet his eight cats! Although it’s not a conventional museum, it was awesome!”
