August Staff of the Month: Jeffrey Lee and Vikacha Phiri

Today we recognize Special Education Teacher Jeff Lee and Director of Social Services Viki Phiri, two additional Children’s Program team members nominated by their colleagues for the August Staff of the Month honor.

Jeff is sincere, engaging, and hardworking, and he always strives to be better than the day before. The students and staff all love him, and he is a valued member of our team here at Latham. Thank you for being the amazing teacher you are!

Jeff is a leader. He is an advocate for his students and fellow staff members. On top of that he organizes activities both on and off campus that keep our students engaged and active!

Shout out to Jeff. Jeff always has not only the kids’ backs but the staffs’ backs. I enjoy every conversation we have, Jeff, and all the knowledge and advice that you’ve given me. You are definitely somebody we staff and the kids look up to.

Jeff, thank you for being one of the first people to help me out at Latham.

I’d like to congratulate Jeff Lee for staff of the month. He is an innovative thinker with all his community outings. We are blessed to have him here on our campus.

Viki is not only one of the nicest people I know, but she’s the best boss that I’ve ever had. She’s supportive, encouraging, patient, direct, always willing to lend a helping hand or ear. She is such a great asset to Latham Centers and I’m really lucky to be part of her team.

Viki – She is always looking out for everyone. She can take a step back and see the big picture and points from all sides which is essential for someone in her position. On top of all that she is a wonderful listener and offers amazing advice.

Viki, you are such an amazing department head here at Latham Centers. You always have a smile on your face. The way that you lead your team is inspiring for our staff and students.

Viki is always available, not afraid to make a decision, and always helping the kids.
