The Last Hurrah of Latham Centers’ Charity Playhouse Raffle Odyssey
October 17, 2013
The upcoming days will be full of activities and fundraising as Latham Centers staff and volunteers, with the Cape Associates Charity Playhouse, whip into Wellfleet over the weekend, and bust into Brewster on Monday.
Annually, OysterFest takes over Wellfleet for one weekend in October, and this year Latham Centers will be part of the celebration. With help from partnering business Cape Associates, the charming playhouse will be on location in front of Mid-Cape Home Centers (30 Commercial St., Wellfleet MA, October 19th and 20th). With a scenic view of Uncle Tim’s Bridge and a minute’s walk to the fabulous festivities located in town center, Mid-Cape Home Centers serves as an ideal location for OysterFest weekend raffle sales. Look out for us Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $20. Runner up prizes include a golf foursome at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club Course (Brewster), one-night stay with breakfast at historic Candleberry Inn (Brewster), Cape Cod Braided Rugs $100 gift certificate, and a gift basket of all-natural goat’s milk soap made by Latham School Children.
Monday, October 21st, the Charity Playhouse Raffle comes to a climax at Latham Centers’ 4th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Ocean Edge Resort Golf Club, when the winning ticket is drawn! Buy tickets online HERE until Monday, October 21st, or visit us in Wellfleet at this year’s OysterFest. All proceeds support life transforming programs for the children and adults of Latham Centers.
