Talent Acquisition Team to host Job Fair on Monday

September 26, 2019

Members of Latham Centers’ Recruitment Team will welcome job-seekers and career-changers to our Job Fair on Monday, September 30th.  Betty Gray, Talent Acquisition Manager, will be joined by Cheyenne Robles, HR Assistant Recruiter, the newest member of our Organizational Development department. Cheyenne  comes to Latham with a background in customer service, management, interviewing, and training, and she works closely with Betty and Joan McFadden, HR Assistant. The Job Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this coming Monday at our future campus expansion site at 1439 Main Street (Route 6A), Brewster.

Latham Centers is currently hiring clinical, nursing, and direct support professionals (including residential and one to one counselors), as well as agency substitutes. Direct support professional positions include full-time, part-time, and flex-time options at the Latham School campus in Brewster and at several Adult Program group residences throughout Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts – from Harwich to Plymouth.

Our Job Fair is the perfect opportunity to meet informally with our Human Resources and Program team members and learn about our special education and residential services for children and adults with disabilities. “Our Job Fairs have always been successful in connecting with candidates from varied backgrounds and experiences, with one common element: everyone who comes to Latham wants to make a difference,” Betty said. Some are surprised to learn about the diversity of schedules available, including substitute positions on weekends. Career-changers have joined our team for so many reasons, and we have direct support staff members who have worked at Latham for more than 30 years.

Latham Centers offers meaningful work, competitive compensation, continuous professional development, and opportunities for advancement. Our benefits package includes excellent health insurance, five weeks paid time off accrued in the first year of employment, tuition reimbursement, and a 403(b) retirement plan with up to 5% employer match. Human services experience is helpful; however, Latham provides an extensive orientation with on-the-job training – career-changers are encouraged to apply. Applicants who cannot attend the job fair may apply online at https://lathamcenters.hyrell.com
