Please join us – Latham Players to perform at October 19th Fall Talent Show

October 13, 2019

The Latham Players will be joining with their friends and fellow thespians of CapeCodCAN for a Talent Show at the Cotuit Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. Many of our Players will be singing solos and duets as well as performing as a “Jug band” in the group number: Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Do You Believe in Magic?”, complete with Schuyler D. as the magician. Come enjoy this fall’s show, ROOTED IN RHYTHM, and hum along with such songs as “Good Morning, Baltimore” (from Hairspray)—Leona R.; “God Gave Me You”—Drew K.; “Thinking Out Loud”—Schuyler D.; “Owner of a Lonely Heart”—Anthony C.; “A Whole New World”—Ayanna G., Emily L., Jan R., and Leona R.; “I Can See Clearly Now”—Jan R., Andrea H., Nina K., and Jessie S; and “Right Here Waiting For You”—Max M. and Maria M.

The Players’ Artistic Director Dinah Lane said this show is a great opportunity for each Latham Player to shine and demonstrate the great progress they have made over the past year, being able to not only memorize, but also successfully put across a musical number. She added, “We hope that many in the Latham community will be able to attend this fun and upbeat show!”

Best wishes to our Latham Players! More about the show: Rooted in Rhythm is CapeCodCAN’s Annual Fall Talent Show, to be performed on the Main Stage at Cotuit Center for the Arts.
