Latham Centers’ Visit to Gillette Stadium: Special Olympics 2016
February 13, 2017
The east coast has been facing some difficult weather over the past week. Rather than focus on the wintery conditions, we’ve decided to reminisce (and start looking forward to) that time of the year when we can again exercise outdoors.
This year the students at Latham Centers traveled to Gillette Stadium to participate in Special Olympics’ Flag Football. Not only were our residents given the opportunity to play a game on the field with other students from Massachusetts, but they were also able to explore areas of Gillette often closed to the public! Take a look at the slideshow to see some photos of both the students and staff having a blast!
