Last Chance to Donate to Latham Centers’ Roll the Rock Teams!

March 30, 2016

rollStudents of Latham Centers’ Special Olympics Bowling Team also Compete!

As you’ve seen from past blog posts – Latham Centers is participating in its first ever Roll the Rock tournament. Roll the Rock is hosted by Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers, a non-profit group which for the past 25 years has “created, organized and executed special events for the benefit of other 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.”
All the funds raised will support Latham Centers’ Capital Campaign to build a new Latham Community Center for both the children and adult residents at Latham Centers, but also the entire Cape Cod Disability Network. This building will also be available for use by Cape Cod residents for classes and meeting spaces.
Latham Teams:
1. Latham Lucky to Take Two – Lead: Anne McManus
2. Latham LaZers – Adult Residential Team (with staff support)
3. Latham Mayhem – Staff Team: Katrina Fryklund, Kara McDowell, Meghan Pouliot, Brittni Taylor
4. The Latham Bowling Stones – Community team led by Chris Gillstrom and Mark Burgess
5. Latham Loopers – Board team led by: Jeni Landers, Stephen Drowne, Jeff Cotto, Keith Bradley
6. Latham Lobbers – Community team led by Coastal Engineering and board member Brad Malo
Latham Centers’ Board of Directors and staff have come together in six different teams to raise funds. The descriptions of the teams are below! In order to donate, please click here. Click on the pull-down menu and the team of your choice. Each team has a goal of $800 with four teammates.
Thank you so much if you have already supported us! For those who haven’t, now’s the time! If you have any questions about the Capital Campaign or about the Roll the Rock Teams, please contact Katrina Fryklund at 774.353.9126 or kfryklund@lathamcenters.org.
We welcome you to come to cheer us on!
