Latham Centers Expands Shared Living Program

Latham Centers is expanding its Shared Living Program throughout Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Latham Centers is offering a unique opportunity to individuals, couples or families who can open their homes and their hearts to an individual with special needs, age 22 or older.

You can make a difference, while earning a generous monthly stipend, by becoming a Shared Living Provider.

This innovative program is one of many offered by Latham Centers.

Latham Centers is a leader in the treatment of children and adults with intellectual disabilities, complex special needs – including Prader-Willi Syndrome – and behavioral challenges. Our school and residential programs throughout Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts serve special needs children, adults, and their families.

Providing A Real Home

The goal of Latham’s Shared Living Program is to provide a real home for an adult individual with special needs, so he or she can build daily living skills, have a sense of belonging, participate more fully in community activities, and live as full and satisfying a life as possible.

The shared hope for both the supported individual and the home provider is that they will develop a long-lasting, safe and happy relationship.
