Latham Centers Expands Shared Living Program

Latham Centers is expanding its Shared Living Program throughout Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Shared Living is a unique opportunity for individuals, couples, or families who wish to open their homes and their hearts to an individual with special needs, age 22 or older. Latham’s Shared Living Providers make a real difference while earning an income.

Latham Centers is a leader in the treatment of children and adults with intellectual disabilities, complex special needs (including Prader-Willi syndrome), and behavioral challenges. Our special education school and residential programs throughout Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts serve children and adults and their families. Shared Living is one of many innovative programs offered by Latham.

Providing A Real Home

The objective of Latham Centers’ Shared Living Program is to provide a safe, secure, and enriching home setting in which the individual with special needs is empowered to develop relationships within the home and the community.  The Shared Living provider works on a contract basis with Latham Centers and is compensated monthly for their services and the needs of the individual in their care.
