Support our Runner’s in Latham Centers Falmouth Road Race Endeavor: Another Runner’s Story

Annually, Latham Centers participates in the Falmouth Road Race. This picturesque 7.2 mile run along the coast and through the town of Falmouth brings runners from across the world to beautiful Cape Cod. This year, 16 runners will run to raise upwards of $15,000 to help the children and adults at Latham Centers live a more abundant life.
All funds raised encourage growth in our residents by way of physical fitness programs. This year, funds will help to increase our total raised for the future Latham Community Center. Please learn more about the Community Center here!
This is why Becca is running:
“My goal is to raise $950.00. My name is Becca Dawley. I am 17 years old and am running to support my brother, Ben and his spectacular PWS peers. Latham has had a profound impact on many lives including that of my brother. I joined this team in order to thank, recognize, and give back to Latham Centers.
I have grown up with numerous [individuals with] special needs. In life, we are all different and deserve opportunities along [and] a wonderful life. The residents of Latham are no different. They all deserve happiness, independence, job opportunities, and education, which Latham works so hard to make happen. Every time I visit, I am welcomed with heartwarming greetings, smiles, and compliments from the students who aren’t always recognized for the daily hardships they overcome. I am so inspired by them!
