What do you enjoy most about your job?
Working to make a difference in the lives of our students. Working with dedicated staff.
What do you love about working with individuals with PWS or other complex special needs?
I like how challenging it is. I like being able to make a positive difference in their lives.
Has this job taught you anything about yourself?
This job has taught me about my limits (what I’m comfortable with/what I can handle).
How do you spend your time when you’re not working at Latham?
Working on my cottage. Spending time with loved ones. Watching sports. Reading. Playing music.
What advice would you give to someone contemplating a career at Latham Centers?
Understand that the job is not about you, it’s about the students. Be willing to work as part of a team. Be ready to be uncomfortable and to tackle unpleasant tasks.
